Description
Tues-Sat, 9 to 5, Sun. 1 to 5. The parking lot is locked at 5pm. Closed Mondays, New Year's Eve and Day, Presidents' Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day. Open Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day but closed the Tuesday following these holidays. The trail passes through upland forest, bottomland woods, prairie plantings and marshes. Sigrist Woods Trail wanders among some of the oldest trees in Ohio. This unique woods has been designated an Ohio Natural Landmark. There is a viewing pier on the lake, a wildlife observation tower, a wildlife viewing blind, boardwalks and bridges crossing streams. look for the red arrows to guide along the trails.
