The annual broadcast of Â"A Charlie Brown ChristmasÂ" signals the start of the holiday season for many families, and one of the special aspects of the show is the sweet and lilting jazz melodies of composer Vince Guaraldi. Imagine being able to hear that music performed live. The acclaimed Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet brings all those familiar tunes Â- Â"Christmas Time Is Here,Â" Â"SkatingÂ" and Â"Hark The Herald Angels SingÂ" to the stage of the baby grand.
This concert is part of Clifford Brown Year Round, a partnership with the Christina Cultural Arts Center, Inc., the Grand Opera House & the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs. This dynamic series aims to keep the excitement of the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival alive throughout the rest of the year.
