John Pizzarelli Quartet (Standing in for Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth) 

While fans will be disappointed to miss one of Laine & Dankworth’s memorable performances as Dame Cleo recovers from surgery at home in England, they will no doubt welcome the announcement that it is John Pizzarelli who’ll be walking into the spotlight for the performance on the evening of Jan. 30 at Thalian Hall. John Pizzarelli has had a multi-faceted career as a jazz guitarist, vocalist and bandleader. Internationally known for classic standards, late-night ballads, and the cool jazz flavor he brings to his performances and recordings, he has recently established himself as the consummate entertainer and radio program host with the launch of "Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli" a nationally syndicated radio program co-hosted with his wife, Broadway star Jessica Molaskey.

Already-purchased reserved tickets for the concert appearance by Dame Cleo Laine will be honored in full for the Pizzarelli performance.
