Pit Bull Parenting 101 is a once monthly seminar for pit bull owners. Pit Bull Parenting 101 is offered by the Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners and Pawsitively Motivating Dog Training. Are you a current pit bull owner? Do you hope to be a proud pit bull owner in the future? Are you a skeptical individual willing to learn more about pit bulls and the roles they play in your community? Then please join us for Pit Bull Parenting 101! We will discuss the basics of pit bulls- their origin, their place in our present day communities, positive reinforcement training, how to choose an appropriate trainer, nutrition, proper care, and management. Tickets are $20 per person, no dogs or children under 12 allowed. In addition to the education provided at our seminar we provide light refreshments and each ticket purchased enters you in a chance to win a Freedom No Pull Harness. The Pit Bull Parenting Seminar ticket sales benefit the NEPA Pit Fix, a spay and neuter clinic offered by the Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners.
