Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - Saturday, January 17, 2009 Quilting African American Women's History: Our Challenges, Creativity, and Champions will bring an unparalleled collection of African-American quilts together for the first time. The artistic mastery, diversity of genre and technique of the quilts reflect the diversity intrinsic to African Americans. The exhibition of more than 100 quilts includes works from some of America's best known African-American quilters. A full color catalogue and poster will accompany the exhibition.
