Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
1700 5th Street, 940-761-1889, From the North or West on I-44, 281, 287, take the Abilene Exit 1A, 277 Business. The Econo Lodge is on the right. On 281/287, from DFW, take Broad Street Business exit. Do Not go on elevated road. Stay in the Right Lane on Broad Street to 5th Street. Turn Left on 5th Street. Econo Lodge is two blocks on the Right. Event Description: Daily, dawn to dusk. Strollers and wheelchairs may have difficulty with curbs and the suspended bridge. The trail goes past a historic cemetery, along city park trails, across a swinging bridge over the Wichita River, and to the waterfall.
