Description
“Souper Bowl 2008,” a soup dinner, will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30th at First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Broadway.
Please join us! For a donation of $15 contribution, or $10 with two non-perishable food items, patrons will receive a bowl of soup of their choice, a souvenir hand-made ceramic bowl, entertainment and the opportunity to participate in a silent auction. All proceeds will go to Inter-Faith Ministries’ Campaign To End Childhood Hunger.
The Campaign To End Childhood Hunger program improves food security for Kansas’ low-income children through advocacy, education and outreach. CTECH has developed a network of organizations, congregations, and community activists to fight childhood hunger. The mission of CTECH is that no Kansas child should go to bed hungry and to advocate long-term solutions to food uncertainty.
