Senior Wednesday: Cover It Up! Yarn Bombing at the Ulrich

Location: WSU Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th St. N., Entrance J, Wichita

Graffiti and street art meet knit and purl when groups of knitters cover light poles, tree trunks—even cars and buses—with brightly colored yarn. Learn about this fun and unique art form, then loosen up your fingers and take a stab at learning to knit with Shelly Stilger, owner of Wichita's Twist Yarn Shop. Bring your own needles and yarn, or use those provided by the Ulrich and Twist.

Refreshments at 10 a.m. with the program at 10:30 a.m.
