There are four city parks on this route, including one that features a statue of leadership guru and poet John Greenleaf. Whittier has been the backdrop for the TV series Wonder Years and movies including Father of the Bride 2, Back to the Future II and Terminator 3 to name a few. The route is all on paved paths, sidewalks or on the Whittier College campus pathways. Restrooms along the route. Carry water. Dogs allowed onleash.
