CHANGE IN DATE for the first meeting of the TMI South Shore/Boston Local Chapter. Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, this meeting will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. I hope your schedule is free on the 19th and that you can join us. (We had seven people signed up.) (My apologies for any inconvenience!) This is a wonderful opportunity for TMI and Hemi-Sync Class graduates to gather together for group exercises. New to Hemi-Sync? You are welcome to join us and experience this ground-breaking technology. What is Hemispheric Synchronization (Hemi-Sync)? Hemi-Sync is a scientifically based and clinically proven "audio-guidance" technology that uses sound to influence brain-wave activity. Supported by over 50 years of research, Hemi-Sync is an integral feature of The Monroe Institute's international success as a leader in consciousness exploration, self-discovery and transformation. Participation is not predicated on any particular belief system or doctrine. The only philosophical point you are asked to consider as a serious possibility is that you are more than your physical body. Many who attend programs develop a different overview, a changed perspective from which life's experiences seem to take on a new significance. We will listen to two exercises from the Gateway Discovery Series and selection will be based upon the level of experience of the participants. For those who haven't read Robert Monroe's books, I recommend reading his first book, Journeys Out of the Body which is available at some of the local libraries. It can be found online and it's typically in stock at Barnes and Noble and Borders. What to bring: Most participants find it preferable to lie down during the exercises. Thus, you might wish to bring a mat (or blanket) for comfort while lying on the carpeted (and hard) floor. A pillow (some are available at the center) A notebook and pencil if you'd like to take notes about your experience. Water will be provided. Wear comfortable, casual clothing. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me. You can RSVP by email to: [masked] Hope you can join us despite the change in date! Linda
