Driving Directions
The highest mountains in Virginia will have their fall "coats of many colors" on, so bring your camera when you come to the Whitetop Mountain Sorghum Molasses Festival. Enjoy the spectacular views and watch close up the molasses and applebutter making. And you can buy some to take home along with great memories. This traditional mountain festival also features a craft show, live music with some of the region's best mountain music makers, dancing, and a chicken BBQ dinner. It is held at Mt. Rogers Fire Hall on Rt. 58 in the Whitetop Community. Always the 2nd Sunday in October.
