The Fort Des Moines Museum will host the first Military Women Event brought to you by the Iowa Commission on the Status of Women.
Join us for free resources/health information for Iowa's women veterans & active military members. Participants will also learn about women's long history of service to the military & this nation.
Keynoting the event is Betty Wall, one of the few women to serve as a pilot & train male pilots during World War II. She is also author of the book "And Still Flying...: The Life and Times of Elizabeth "Betty" Wall".
