The Testing Child
This workshop is open for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers of children ages 15 months-5 yrs old.
This workshop explains why children test and repeat negative behaviors.
You can't change a behavior if you don't fully realize why it is happening. In this workshop, you will learn to understand a child's motives.
Participants will walk away from this workshop with a better understanding of their child and/or those they work with.
You will gain the wisdom and ability to step back and assess a situation with clarity and confidence.
Armed with this information, participants can more effectively intervene in a child's negative behavior.
This workshop can be taken alone, or in conjunction with "Modifying Children’s Behaviors". Those who take both workshops will have a more enhanced knowledge of dealing with child behaviors.
Childcare providers will earn 2 EEC training hours.
