2010 Heart of the Hub

Heart of the Hub is Roxbury's most prominent art-inspired fundraising party. Enjoy an evening filled with food, friends, and fun. As in previous years, there will be live music, a silent auction featuring art and interactive experiences, prize drawings, and A Taste of Roxbury dinner with food and beverages provided by restaurants and caterers from Greater Roxbury.

We will also present the second annual Roxbury Puddingstone Awards to honor members of the community for their advocacy and continued commitment to and development of Roxbury's physical and cultural assets. This year's awardees are:

* Bing Broderick, Director of Business and Marketing at Haley House
* Melvin B. Miller, Editor and Publisher of The Bay State Banner
* Klare Shaw, Senior Advisor for Education, Arts & Culture at Barr Foundation

This year, Heart of the Hub will be held on Thursday, October 21, 6pm-9pm at the Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall in Dudley Square.

NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
