360Bikers Space Shuttle Launch Ride

NOTE: This event is subject to change on date. It's a bit tricky as NASA has already changed this date once from 10/16 to 10/8 to 10/10 and now to 10/14 at 10:19 PM. We have to have some flexibility in these. NEW DETAILS: UPDATED SEPTEMBER 14, 2008 Launch Time is October 14th at 10:49 PM. We may consider this as a day trip at this point. Stay tuned for details. Bring your SUNPASS. We will take the turnpike to the Ft. Pierce exit. The departure time is tentative and will depend on the launch. I didn't say lunch, I said LAUNCH! This day is selected as a Space Shuttle launch. Our ride will be detailed as we approach launch time. Right now, I'm leaning towards leaving around 2:00 PM to go to a staging area for the launch and then ride home. That's a little late for arrival, so I'm looking at alternatives for camping and staying up there. DUE TO ALL THE CHANGES I AM LOOKING AT ALTERNATIVES TO STAYING THERE. IF YOU WANT TO CAMP, THE SITE BELOW IS EXCELLENT. WE MAY USE A PARKING AREA FOR THIS AND RIDE BACK IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE LAUNCH. MORE DETAILS RIGHT UP TO THE LAST MINUTE.
