The Bobs
Imagine Manhattan Transfer on acid. If Robin Williams met Bobby McFerrin. Zappa meets Bach. The Bobs are a truly original all-vocal band that began in the early 80's in San Francisco. Two of its original members met while employed as deliverers of singing telegrams. The band went on to garner a Grammy Nomination for vocal arranging as well as numerous TV and film appearances. The group is known for its audacious covers of familiar tunes, its humorous original songs and avant-garde arrangement techniques.
