The House of Blues Los Angeles is one of a rare breed of venues which allows fans to see some of the biggest names in music up close and personal in an intimate, yet stellar setting. As a result, the House of Blues Los Angeles has become one of West Hollywoodâs biggest hot spots for live music performances. One of 13 venues which make up the House of Blues franchise, the House of Blues Los Angeles is currently owned by Live Nation - giants in the field of entertainment venues. The House of Blues brand was the brainchild of Isaac Tigrett.
Located in the heart of West Hollywood, the House of Blues Los Angeles first opened in 1994 and stands out from its sister venues by housing a unique collection of work by Alan Saint James Boudrot. In addition, the House of Blues Los Angeles features Jake and Elwood movable bars and is covered in tin from a local tin mill. Like the other House of Blues venues, the House of Blues Los Angeles has stuck to its roots by displaying the âCrazy Quiltâ and keeping a box of Delta Mississippi mud underneath its stage - a gesture to ensure that each performer will have the "spirit of the South" beneath their feet.
The venue is a favorite among the biggest names in music. Tupac Shakur, Miley Cyrus and Prince with Maceo Parker are just a few of those who have been featured on the House of Blues Los Angeles schedule in the past.
