House of Blues - Sunset Strip

The House of Blues Sunset Strip is one of 13 live music venues part of the House of Blues franchise. The brand was originally founded by Isaac Tigrett and Dan Aykroyd. The House of Blues Sunset Strip is currently owned by one of the largest entertainment companies around, Live Nation. Sunset Strip’s House of Blues has become one of West Hollywood’s biggest hot spots for live and intimate music performances.

Located in the heart of West Hollywood, Sunset Strip’s House of Blues first opened in 1994. The House of Blues Sunset Strip houses a unique collection of work by Alan Saint James Boudrot. In addition, the House of Blues Sunset Strip features Jake and Elwood movable bars and is covered in tin from a local gin mill. Like the other House of Blues venues, the House of Blues Sunset Strip has stuck to its roots by displaying the “Crazy Quilt” and keeping a box of Delta Mississippi mud underneath its stage.

Tupac Shakur, T-Pain and Prince with Maceo Parker are just some of the famous names that have been featured on the House of Blues Sunset Strip schedule. The House of Blues Sunset Strip is scheduled to have performances by Utada, Timbaland, Trey Songz and Motion City Soundtrack in the upcoming year.
