In ancient times, winter was a time of slowing down and going within. For those of different faiths, it's a time of great sacred power, the coming of the light to humankind. For many of us, the holiday season is a time of stress and overwhelm, with too many external activities and too few moments of centering ourselves in the love and joy that are the gift of the Christ child. In this workshop/concert, The Joy Singers will not only entertain you with original Christmas songs, excerpts from the oratorio Christ Lives, and beautiful instrumentals (all composed by Donald Walters, aka Swami Kriyananda), but also through the uplifting vibrations of their music. They will guide you to experience the inner peace at the heart of the season.
