Ahmanson Ranch Gone Wild

Hike with us along the the undocumented and unmaintained trails of Upper Las Virgenes, exploring the forbidden recesses of the Ahmanson and El Escorpio Ranches. Along the way we will view Castle Peak and caves the Chumash used to prepare their dead for burial. Hike will be 8+ miles with 1000 ft net elevation gain. Directions: Go to the west end of Vanowen St and park on street From the 101 freeway exit Valley Circle Boulevard. Head north to Vanowen St. Turn left.
