American Heritage & Ivy League ESL Tour - 2009

Youth With A Mission West Friendship, Maryland's trained/experienced ESL workers are ready to assist Chinese youth coming to the United States for cultural exchange, visits to historic American monuments, museums, and Ivy League Universities. Participants will arrive at the Baltimore-Washington International airport (BWI) on January 2, 2009. First you will all enjoy an evening of welcome celebration and get settled at our West Friendship, MD location. On January 10, our chartered bus will drive us all to the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials and a reception luncheon hosted in Washington, DC. On Sunday, we will attend a special service at the Washington Cathedral and return to West Friendship for a special supper and an evening of entertainment. On Monday and Tuesday, January 5 & 6, we will begin our ESL curriculum and begin practicing several common English phrases. On Wednesday, January 7, we board our charter bus again for a seven day whirlwhind tour of five States, seven Ivy League Universities, and more historic American sites. We return to West Friendship, MD on January 12 for three more days of conversational English, games, and a special presentation on university studies in the United States.
