Walking Event:

Daily dawn to dusk. 12Km "Parks and Palaces" route combines walking trails in parks with lake views and extraordinary residential architecture. The bustling downtown has several places to eat or purchase food. The 10 Km cemetery route skips Echo Lake Park but adds the cemetery. The 12 KM route also qualifies for the cemetery special event. Restrooms available at the start point. Only one event credit if completing both options. This walk is on paved surfaces but has several inclines. For those needing frequent rest room stops there is a third route - sign up at the hotel and drive to a new start point. The routes would be hard for strollers and wheelchairs.
