Come hike a 10 mile loop to one of the highest cascading waterfalls in the east, Raven Cliff falls. The trails we'll be on are raven cliff, gum gap, naturland trust and the dismal. The trails have a moderate to strenuous rating. The most difficult is the dismal trail. It is 1.5 miles long and is a difficult climb out of the valley. The park rangers have described the dismal as appropriately named. If your looking for a great hike with plenty of challenge come join us. We'll meet at 7:30 am and promptly leave at 7:45 am. It's a 2 hr 40 minute drive to the trailhead. I estimate we'll be back in charlotte around 7 pm provided we don't stop to eat. If you don't want to eat still come along, as some may want to get back earlier. Bring snacks and water. This is a hike at your own risk event. Any questions please call me at 803 984 0243. todd
