Join us for a time of spiritual enrichment, practical advice, and an opportunity to share ideas about ministering to the elderly, homebound, sick, suffering, and dying. Morning talks and discussion will include two topics: Baptized for Others: A Theology of Service and Ministry of Presence: Practical Ways to Be Christ to Others.
Designed for parish volunteers and pastoral care ministers who bring Christ’s compassion to fellow parishioners, this workshop is for those who: bring the Eucharist to the sick and dying; visit the homebound or those in care centers; provide respite care; minister to the grieving; drive others to Mass, the grocery store and errands; make meals, do laundry or clean for parishioners in need; make prayer shawls; and participate in prayer chains.
