Description
This is a new route this year. Check in at Castel Grisch winery, and then drive to the start point in town. The route goes along Seneca Lake, through the village of Watkins Glen and then into beautiful Watkins Glen State Park, climbing up over 800 steps through the Glen. NOTE: The route through the Glen is difficult and slippery. Walkers must wear footwear in good condition and pace themselves for a strenuous climb.
