Now HERE's a special treat! Washington Photo Safari participants have been invited to photograph the magnificent interior of the stately Willard Hotel, which has been host to many Presidents ever since it was first built in 1850. We are being given exclusive opportunity to photograph the lobby - restored to its 19th century elegance - and the adjoining Peacock Alley. Based on room availability, we may even get to an upstairs suite and photograph the great view of the Mall from the upper levels of the Willard. We will also capture exterior views of the Willard in the afternoon sun from nearby Pershing Plaza with colorfully-clad ice skaters on the skating rink!
