Washington DC Pick-up Softball Meetup

The plan for games: Meet at 1:00 PM and briefly warm-up 1:20 to 1:30 - Divide up the teams (randomly with even guys/girls) and play! Depending on the turnout (and the heat) we'll play 7 or 9 innings, giving everyone equal opportunity to bat & field. 10 players in the field at a time (may add shallow and deep outfielders if lots of players come out) Rotational sitting out, determined by the batting order. *To keep the batting order moving, each batter will have 3 swings (don't have to swing at bad pitches) to hit a fair ball. After 3 misses/fouls - it's an out. Besides that the rules are basic baseball/softball. Should wrap up around 3:00. Hope to see you out!
