Washington DC C/W Two Step, Waltz & Line Dance Meetup

Join us every Sunday for classes and dancing starting at 2:00pm and ending at 11:15pm to include social dancing and practice in all of the Latin dances, Hand Dancing, Hustle, Argentine Tango, Salsa & Rueda and any other social Swing and Ballroom dances by request between 7pm & 11:15pm. Classes in all of the social dances throughout the day including Ballroom and Black-tie and Wedding dances, Cha Cha, Cumbia and Bachata, Salsa & Rueda, Swing of all varieties, Hand Dancing, Country Two Step, Brazilian Samba, Argentine Tango, Mambo, Hip Hop (including a segment of "Michael Jackson's Thriller" by request after 7:30pm or Hip Hop moves from Chris Rock's "Head Of State") and more. No previous dance experience or dance partner required. SCHEDULE: 2pm-Black-tie and Wedding social Ballroom and Latin dances, including Viennese Waltz plus social Cha Cha (Maria) and "Red Hot Ballroom" for the kids. 3pm-C/W Two Step, line dances and Swing (Terry & Mein), Hand Dancing (Aurum) and Cumbia and Bachata (Maria). 4pm- Beginner and intermediate Salsa taught by Terry & Maria (2 levels at once with fun dips & tricks taught by Maria). 5pm- beginner Salsa Rueda taught by the SAOCO DC Casino Rueda performance team. 5pm- Brazilian Samba (Which may eventually change over time to also include Samba Rock, Brazilian Bolero, Pagode, Vanerao, etc....). 6pm-Intermediate and advanced Salsa Rueda taught by SAOCO members 6pm- 7:15pm Beg & Intermed Argentine Tango (two teachers at once) 7:00pm to 11:30pm Social Latin and more dancing by request, an Argentine Tango milonga at the same time in studio A and practice in all of the dances with music or mini-classes until 11:15pm. $7.00 admission or FREE! for those taking any Sunday classes throughout the day. Bring a "First-Class-Is-Free-Pass" and your FIRST CLASS is FREE! (one must actually bring the First-Class-Is-Free Pass to qualify) The more classes one takes throughout Sunday before 5:00pm, the less one pays per class ($12.00 1st class, $7.00 2nd class, $6.00 3rd class or $95.00/ 10-class dance card good for any of Terry's Chevy Chase Ballroom classes throughout the week). You'll enjoy some great authentic Argentine Tango, Salsa, Samba, Ballroom, Swing and more music (2 studios available at once for Salsa & Tango until 11:15pm). We'll have plenty of refreshments, a pot luck for those who care to bring food, plenty of music, plenty of training for beginners and PLENTY of dancing and practice for EVERYONE at all levels! You'll have the opportunity to learn more dances in one night than you ever thought possible! (and maybe even a segment of the "Michael Jackson Thriller" routine!
