Walk the National Mall. This event offers 7-KM, 11-KM, and 17-KM trails and is rated 1+. The 7-KM trail leads around the Tidal Basin and beside the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. The 11-KM trail is along city streets and through monument areas with steps. Some of the sights you will see are the Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, FDR Memorial, Capitol Building, White House, and Vietnam Memorial. In addition, the 17-KM trail takes you by the Supreme Court, through Union Station, and by the National Archives. Trail is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
