This Veterans Day, Sunday, November 15, 2009, join Capital Running Company in honoring our country's veterans in the tenth annual Veterans Day 10K!
Course Description:
Fast, flat course along the Potomac River and around Hains Point.
Location and Facilities:
The race will take place in West Potomac Park near the Tidal Basin and FDR Memorial in Washington, DC. (Near the intersection of Independence Avenue & Ohio Drive, SW.)
Distances:
10K, Tidal Basin Walk (approximately 2.25 miles) around the scenic Tidal Basin and past the Jefferson and FDR Memorials.
Classes, Costs, and Awards:
Awards go 10 deep overall & 3 deep in 5-year age groups to 80 & above. Registration fee for the 10K is $25 and $30 after November 2. Tidal Basin Walk is $20. No race day registration.
