Thursday Night Smithsonian Run - ALL Paces Welcome

Event - Thursday Night Smithsonian Metro Run Course - BEGINNERS - Course will be approximately 3 miles in distance. Run at a pace that is comfortable for you. ADVANCED - Course will be approximately 4 to 5 1/2 miles - pace is typically between an 8 minute mile and 10 minute mile. Time - Meet between 6:15 and 6:30 PM - get started shortly after 6:30 pm. Pace - Run at a pace that is comfortable for you - we will split into pace groups. Rain Policy - If it's pouring or there is lightning/thunderstorms - you can safely assume run is canceled, if it's just lightly raining - you can safely assume the run is still a go - use your best judgment is best policy. Everyone is welcome to join, runners of all endurance and distance levels. Runs takes us pass all the major sites in DC, including Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, World War II Memorial, Capitol Building and Washington Monument. Cars are usually available to store personal storage and some people go out afterward to grab post run drinks and grub. If you are bringing your car - please state that in your RSVP - if you need to store personal items - please state that in your RSVP as well.
