The weekly Sun DC Ballroom, Latin, Mambo, Swing & Tango Training Meetup & Dance

Join us every Sunday for classes and social dancing from 1:00pm and ending at 11pm with Tango dancing, including social dancing & practice in the Latin, Argentine Tango, Disco/Hustle, Salsa & Rueda, Swing & Ballroom dances between 7pm & 11. Classes throughout the day include Red Hot Ballroom for kids (IF ENOUGH RSVP), Viennese Waltz, Dance-at-Your Wedding Workshops, Ballroom and Black-tie & wedding dances, Cha Cha, Bachata, Salsa & Rueda, Swing, Hand Dancing, C/W 2-Step, Brazilian Samba, Argentine Tango, Mambo and Hip Hop (including "Michael Jackson's Thriller" by request after 9pm or Hip Hop moves from Chris Rock's "Head Of State"). THESE ARE ONGOING DROP-IN CLASSES. NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER REQUIRED. SCHEDULE: 12:00pm-1:00pm: Red Hot Ballroom for kids & parents (ONLY if enough RSVP well in advance). 1:00pm - 2pm Brazilian Capoeira Martial Arts & Dance (Joce' Canchan) 1:30pm-2:15pm: (1) International Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba technique & choreography (Lemery or Terry), (2) Dance-at-Your-Wedding Workshops (Terry) 2:15pm-3pm: (1) Beg & Interm/advanced Viennese Waltz (including Viennese Waltz performance formation for those interested) (2) Disco/Hustle (only if enough RSVP in advance at TerryChasteen@yahoo.com to bring in another teacher) 3pm: (1) W Coast & East Coast Swing (Mein), (2) Intern'l Ballroom choreography/technique (Lemery or Terry). 4pm: (1) Beg and intermed+ Salsa on 1 (2 levels at once w/ fun int/adv dips & tricks by well-known Earl Rush of StuckOnSalsa, Mein & Terry Chasteen beginners), (2) SalsaOn2 Mambo extensive styling and body isolations with top Mambo expert Psyon Mauricio (3) Bachatta or social Club Latin (Merengue, Cha Cha, Rumba or American Samba) (Mein), (4) Brazilian Samba (taught byDanielle ONLY if enough confirm in advance) 5pm: (1) beginner Salsa Rueda (SAOCO DC in studio A), (2) Intermed Salsa Rueda (SAOCO DC in studio A), 6pm: (1) beginner Salsa Rueda (SAOCO DC in studio B), (2) Intermediate and advanced Salsa Rueda (SAOCO DC in studio A), (3) C/W Two Step (Terry studio B), 7pm: (1) Beg & Intermed Argentine Tango (7pm-8pm) followed by dancing 'til 11 (w/ Tango DJ) (2) Social Salsa & Latin dancing 7 to 9pm (in studio A) in all of the social dances by request with dance music &/or mini-classes until 9pm followed by Tango or Salsa dancing. $10 admission or FREE! for those taking any Sunday classes throughout the day.
