The Washington DC Tango Dance Meetup

6:30pm-7:15pm: beginner to intermed Salsa or social Latin dances by request, to include any combination of Latin dances by request of those attending, to include Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Cumbia, Bachata, etc. Additional Latin classes are available on Saturday mornings at 10:30am & 11:30am (Salsa & Rueda), Sundays at 3pm (Mambo), 4pm (Salsa on 1), 5pm (Salsa Rueda with SAOCO DC) and Tuesdays at 6:30pm (Salsa on 1) plus this social Latin dance class at 6:30pm on Wednesdays. 7:15pm-8:00pm: Beginner & possibly eventual intermediate Argentine Tango taught at the same time (only beginners for now) as needed from 7:15pm to 8:00pm. Other Argentine Tango dance classes and Latin workshops will take place every week and weekend. Tango is on Sundays at 7:00pm followed by dancing and practice during our weekly milonga from 8pm to 11pm. Beg and/or intermed Tango is also taught during our monthly "Dance-&-Learn Parties" and the weekly "Sunday Salsa, Argentine Tango and Salsa Rueda Social Dance Parties" at the Chevy Chase Ballroom. We will also be playing dance music in all styles by request so you can put your new choreography to use. New patterns will be introduced weekly after review of those covered the week before.
