The DC, Md & Va Hand Dancing and Line Dancing November Meetup

The weekly Saturday Dance Class Meetup schedule at the Chevy Chase Ballroom. All classes are drop-in and will include review and new material each week: NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER NECESSARY. SINGLES, COUPLES, SAME-GENDER COUPLES & THE SEEING & HEARING IMPAIRED ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. (1) 10:00am-10:30am: (A) Warm-up for all classes starting at 10:30am to include new segments each week of the authentic ÂÂ'Michael JacksonÂÂ's ThrillerÂÂ' dance routine. (2) 10:30am-11:30am: (A) Beg thru adv "Red Hot Ballroom" for grade school thru high school (parents must enroll w/ 7-yr & below students). (B) Intermed thru adv Salsa & Rueda taught by Mein. (3) 11:30am-12:30pm: (A) Weekly Dance-at-Your-Wedding Workshops for a spectacular FIRST DANCE. (B) Beg thru intermed Latin choreography, technique and body styling in International Rumba, Cha Cha & Samba. Taught by Terry & 3rd in the World International 10-dance Champion Lemery Rollins. (C) Beg Salsa and Salsa Rueda patterns taught by Mein. (4) 12:00 Noon (A) Beg Disco/Hustle ONLY IF ENOUGH RSVP WELL IN ADVANCE to TerryChasteen@yahoo.com. (5) 12:30pm-1:30pm: (A) Beg thru intermed Swing and/or C/W 2-Step (RSVP required by enough to include a 2-Step class). (B) Beginner Black-tie & Wedding social Ballroom & rhythm dances (Waltz, Foxtrot, Disco/Hustle or Tango). (6) 7pm-11:30pm or later on certain Saturdays and sometimes certain other Fri evenings: Dance-&-Learn Parties always include beginner mini-classes in all of the social dance styles, such as Ballroom, Salsa, Swing, Disco/Hustle, C/W, the social Latin dances and more (plus a segment of the "Michael Jackson's Thriller" Dance routine), as well as beg and intermed Argentine Tango classes in the second studio from 9-9:30pm. All of this followed by an Argentine Tango beg/intermed Tango milonga in studio B. Dance-&-Learn Parties start at 7pm, with the Tango classes and milonga continuing in the second studio at 9:00pm in the second studio at the same time.
