Strickler's Knob Hike - prep for Mt. Washington

Wondering if you're fit enough for Mt. Washington? Come hike Strickler's Knob with us. It's a 9 mile out and back with moderate elevation changes but the last 3/4 mile is an awful climb. Dreadful. Just plain BAD. But the good news is that it's a perfect opportunity to practice our rest step, pressure breathing and mental fortitude. Plus, the rock scramble in the middle is super fun, with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. This is NOT a hike for beginners or people with bad knees. The climbs and descents are steep, plus there will be rock scrambling. Personally, I think this hike is a little harder than Old Rag because of the one steep descent/ascent and several other long, slow climbs. The rock scramble is shorter than Old Rag, but about the same difficulty.
