Winter is approaching, and that means playing in the snow!新手，選手，大家來滑雪！ This meetup is a multi-day event! We arrive Whitetail at 9:00-9:30 the morning of Saturday, Feb 7th, ski/snowboard all day Saturday, spend the night at a nearby hotel, then optional snow tubing on Sunday morning before heading back home. Ski/Snowboard Tickets... This trip is a great opportunity for first time skiers/snowboarders as well as those who are more advanced! Whitetail offers excellent lessons at varying levels. Three types of tickets are offered (prices include 10% discount off group rates and meetup fee): Lift Ticket Only: $49 - For those who have their own rental equipment. No lesson included. Provides access to all open lifts & slopes. EZ Learn to Ski/Board Package: $63 - For first-timers & beginners. Lift ticket, rental equipment, and an optional beginner's lesson included. Provides access to the beginner slopes only. All Mountain Package: $75 - For the more advanced skier/snowboarder. Lift ticket, rental equipment, and an optional lesson at your ability level. Provides access to all open lifts & slopes. Note: Since for every 20 tickets purchased, the 21st ticket is free! We will hold a raffle with the extra ticket money! Rental forms are required for the package tickets. Print it out here, fill it in, and bring it with you. Or, forms will be available when you pick up your ticket. Lodging... Staying overnight is optional. We will be spending the night at the Hampton Inn, in Hagerstown, MD (about a 20 minute drive from Whitetail). Room rate: $99.68 (including tax) Max occupancy/room: 4 You have the option of staying in a room by yourself, or finding roommate(s) and splitting the cost. Let us know what you prefer when you RSVP. Rooms have either 2 queen beds, or a king and a sofa bed. A hot breakfast is included. Optional Lunch... An optional Meal Plan can also be purchased for lunch on Saturday. Cost is $9 (25% off retail price). Choice of: - Blue Plate Special - hot buffet choice, small drink - Cheeseburger or Hot Dog, french fries, small drink - Fresh Deli Sandwich, bag of chips, small drink - Personal Pan Pizza, bag of chips, small drink (choices made at the food court) If not interested in the meal plan, you will be responsible for your own lunch. Feel free to bring it from home. Carpooling... Carpooling can be set up for those interested. Let us know in the RSVP questions. Payment... Payment for the ski/snowboard ticket and optional meal plan must be received by Anna or Andy by February 6th. January 17th, 2009, or your RSVP will be canceled. 3 ways to pay: Make payment via Paypal (Paypal account not required): Click "Pay with Paypal" link at top of this page. Enter in correct amount for the ticket you're purchasing (don't forget to add $9 for a meal ticket, if interested). Check "I've read and understand info above", and click "Next". Pay in person on Jan 17th during the Dinner & Billiards meetup. The hotel will be paid for by yourself upon check-in. And snow tubing will be paid on your own the day of. Cost for snow tubing is $19 for 1 hour, or $22 for two hours. Please turn in payment ASAP. If your plans change, we can provide a full refund. Misc Info... Whitetail has lockers available to store your belongings. You insert quarters every time you access it, so you may want to bring a bunch of quarters. They have a change machine available, too.
