Who should attend?Professionals of nonprofit and small/medium size businesses uncertain how to utilize Facebook and LinkedIn to engage members/clients/the public and expand their reach. What will the participants learn?In Shiny Door Social Networking 101, participants learn and discuss the value of LinkedIn and Facebook. The trainings are conducted in person and include the following:
An explanation of the value of LinkedIn and Facebook and the expected outcomes,
Open discussion on personal vs professional social networking, privacy concerns, message control, and social networking strategies,
Detailed instructions of how to set up and use LinkedIn and Facebook,
How to integrate online and offline networking efforts,
How maximize your time spent on social networks, and
A minimum of geek speak. I promise!
To get the most from the event, bring a laptop.

Since we are gifting the workshop to attendees and space is limited, we
will email all registered attendees 3 days before the event requesting
confirmation of attendance. If you do not confirm we will assume you
