The Smithsonian Latino Center presents two films from Puerto Rico that reflect the political, social, and economic changes taking place on the island. Discussion follows 3 PM screening.
The Smithsonian Latino Center presents two films from Puerto Rico that reflect the political, social, and economic changes taking place on the island. Discussion follows 3 PM screening.
• 12 Noon-2 PM Cayo (2005, directed by Vicente Juarbe) A touching love story about friendships lost and regained.
• 3-5 PM Maldeamores (2007, directed by Carlos Ruiz Ruiz and Mariem Perez Riera) A dark comedy about love and relationships.
