Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture McEvoy Auditorium (enter from G. St.)

The Smithsonian Latino Center presents two films from Puerto Rico that reflect the political, social, and economic changes taking place on the island.

• 1-2 PM: La Isla Chatarra (2007, in Spanish with English subtitles, directed by Karen Rossi) An award-winning documentary highlighting Puerto Rican car culture.
• 3-5 PM: Angela (2007, in Spanish with English subtitles, directed by and starring Jacobo Morales) A political thriller about dirty cops and a framed leftist university professor.
Free tickets distributed 1 hr before; 1st come, 1st served
