Open Bar Boat Cruise and Cocktail Party!!

OK, I know this event is a bit outside the Food & Wine theme (though there will be wine!), but people in our 20s & 30s Going Out Group have had so much fun with this, that JT and I wanted to open it up to some other groups. So on Saturday, September 6th, come join us for a 3-hour OPEN BAR boat cruise and cocktail party!! We will have OPEN BAR (beer, spirits, red & white wine), and appetizer food (ie shrimp cocktail, meats and cheese, sandwich wraps). Our DJ will be on the turntables spinning lively beats to get you dancing!! Further, we would like everyone to come in classy style...so ladies put on your best dress, and gentleman break out the nice threads (some guys have worn tuxedos in the past! though that's certainly not required). Cocktail attire will be strictly enforced...so come and look gooood! OK, so we have music, on the water, open bar, food, fancy clothes....can it get any better? We've done this twice already and both times were off the hook. We have an early bird special on the ticket prices...but it's expiring in a few days (posting late with this group). From now until Aug 10th, the ticket price is only $50. Yup, $50. After that it will go up to $60. We will be leaving out of Old Town Alexandria. There is a marina there by the Torpedo Factory. The boat is next to the Charter House and will leave *PROMPTLY* at 8:00pm and return at 11:00pm. So please start getting there by 7:30 so we don't leave without you (and this has happened!). Now the only downside is we only have room for a limited number of people. So hurry and RSVP...and make the early bird ticket price!
