Monday Night Smithsonian Run - 6:30 PM - ALL Paces Welcome..

EVENT: Smithsonian Metro Monday Evening Run LOCATION: Meet directly on the mall right outside the Smithsonian Metro Station between 6:15 and 6:30 pm. Get started running promptly at 6:30 pm. BEGINNERS - Course will be approximately 3 miles in distance. Run at a pace that is comfortable for you. ADVANCED - Course will be approximately 4 to 5 1/2 miles - pace is typically between an 8 minute mile and 10 minute mile. Everyone is welcome to join! Runners of all endurance and distance levels. Runs takes us pass all the major sites in DC, including Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, World War II Monument, Capitol Building, and Washington Monument. Cars are usually available to store personal storage but if you need to do this - state it in your RSVP. If you are running and you do have a car, please state this in your RSVP as well. HEADLAMPS OR OTHER LIGHT SOURCES/REFLECTIVE GEAR HIGHLY ENCOURAGED*** Meet other runners - enjoy the sites and have a good run.
