Mill Mountain Hike in GWNF This is a challenging and strenuous 11.6 mi hike with difficulty rating of 5 out of 6 with Elev. Gain of 2,340 ft with three different ascents . Not for Beginners. The approx address is: 430 W Reservoir Rd , Woodstock , VA. 22664 Directions: Head on I-66 W Take exit 1A to merge onto I-81 S toward Roanoke...17 Take Exit 283 for VA -42( which is W Reservoir Rd) toward Woodstock When ramp/ merger rd of exit reach W reservoir Rd (VA-42), Take right driving North West when you will be driving on VA-42 North WEST The Deli/service station is on your Right about 75 yards(225 ft) from the exit If you reached Hisey Ave, you went too far The trail head is about 5 miles drive from here( the woodstock meeting pt, See address above). Trail Head is not well marked and with not many signs, so we will drive along one another from Deli/Ser St to get there.
