Meditation Meetup - Sunday, July 5, 2009 Dear Washington DC Meditation Meetup Members, I am so delighted to invite you to attend our next meditation meetup, Sunday, June 5, 2009 - in the Josephine Butler Center and Malcolm X Park, Washington DC! ItÂ’s summer time! LetÂ’s enjoy the nature, the drums, the sun, and the opportunity of meeting amazing people. We can connect with our light within in so many ways! WeÂ’ve practiced so far many kinds of guided meditation. This time, letÂ’s just quietly hold our hands and listen to the grounding and healing sound of the Affrican Drums. For years, IÂ’ve been charging and reconnecting on Sundays there. It is a magical experience; meditation while listening to the drums will send us in a trance-like state. We will feel connected with Divine Light, at peace, in Oneness, and then, we can send Light to everyone else in our life. If you wish to be more comfortable bring a pillow or a yoga matt. Our group works to cultivate spiritual friendships by practicing various meditations, sharing ideas, and building community. We will keep meeting in the park during the Summer.
