This is a Sierra club event. . Posted here for information only. For more info please go to http://sierrapotomac.org/events.htm and scroll down to November events. Maryland Emancipation Day Hike. (Multicultural Outing) Celebrate this day by hiking the Underground Railroad Experience Trail to the historic Sandy Spring spring, the Friends Meetinghouse and cemetery, and the Sandy Spring Slave Museum (6 mi round trip), with a subsequent visit to the Oakley Cabin, a restored slave cabin, for a special program of cabin tours, music, poetry, and refreshments.
On the MySpace bulletin board page click "Post Bulletin".
