Description
The first March of Dimes Bolt for Babies 5K will be held September 7 at Marymount University (Ballston campus) and will take participants through Arlington, Va., along the Bluemont Course. Registration is required and the fee is $35, which includes a T-shirt. Proceeds from the event will benefit the March of Dimes Maryland-National Capital Area Chapter. The post-race party will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at Bailey's Pub & Grille in Ballston Commons Mall (4238 Wilson Blvd.). Participants must bring their runner number to Bailey's for entry to the private party room. The party will include appetizers, discounted drinks and the awards presentation. Friends of participants are invited to the post-race party but they must accompany the runner. Friends will be asked to make a donation to the March of Dimes.
