Latin Mass and Irish Pub Brunch

Get up early on Sunday for the 9:00am Tridentine Mass at Old St. Mary's in historic Chinatown. Old St. Mary's was originally founded as a German Catholic parish in 1846. If you have never been to a Latin Mass, Old St. Mary's is a wonderful opportunity to experience the silence and beauty of the Tridentine Rite. After Mass, we'll head across the street for brunch the Irish Channel Restaurand & Pub. Founded by two Irish brothers, whose family has been in the restaurant business for decades, the Pub serves excellent Guiness as well as sandwiches, salads, pasta and Irish pub classics. Old St. Mary's and the Irish Channel Restaurant are located at 5th and H Streets, NW in downtown DC. Take the Red, Yellow or Green Metro lines to Gallery Place/Chinatown. Exit at 7th and H Streets and walk two blocks to the Church.
