Meet author National Magazine Award winner Katie McCabe. Katie will present a program targeted toward women highlighting Dovey Johnson Roundtree's contributions as a civil rights lawyer, Army veteran, and ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1955, she won a lawsuit that demolished the doctrine of separate but equal in interstate bus travel which enabled Robert F. Kennedy to combat Southern resistance to the 1961 Freedom Riders' campaign. Join us at Presse to hear her remarkable story.
