Indian Cooking Class!

UPDATE #1: This is a reminder that the early bird price will end NEXT Sunday Nov 1st. We had such a great experience last time that we decided to head back for more! Come join us at the Indian Restaurant, Spice Xing in the Old Town Center of Rockville, MD. Executive chef Sudhir Seth recently opened this new venue after his much popular Passage to India restaurant in Bethesda (which was voted one of Washington DC's "Best 100" restaurants). We will be privileged to have Chef Seth take us through the culinary exploration of Indian Cuisine. This will be a DEMONSTRATION cooking class. From 12-2pm, Chef Seth will demonstrate the preparation and cooking of 4 unique Indian dishes .while we enjoy the sampling of Naans and Parathas (assorted fresh baked Tandoori breads). Once Chef Seth has demonstrated the cooking of a full Indian meal, we will spend an hour eating the dishes we just watched be prepared. Event will conclude at 3:00pm. Menu ALOO PHOOLOKOPIR - PANCHPHORNER CHORCHORI (five seed tempered vegetable) PARAPPU COLUMBO - (Pigeon pea lentils with mustard and curry leaf) DUM KA MURGH - (Chicken Curry) RICE KHEER (rice pudding) Please note that for this class, wine and drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, so you will need to purchase on your own. However by attending the class, you will all receive a $25 gift certificate to Spice Xing! From now until Sunday, Nov 1st this event is only $40. After that, the ticket price will go to $45.
