Food & Water Watch Monthly Meet-up July Meetup

Last month's meet-up was a great time for everyone. Not only did attendees enjoy delicious pizza and tasty filtered tap water, we got to view the documentary Thirst. Read about the success Food & Water Watch shared with the community in Stockton, CA. This month get your creative juices flowing as we make signs and props for an ocean fish farm demonstration. As usual, please RSVP so I know how much food to order! Food & Water Watch is a non-profit consumer advocacy organization that fights the corporate control of our food and water resources. We believe that everyone has the right to know where our food and water comes from, that it is free of added chemicals or artificial hormones, and that it was produced using sustainable practices. Food & Water Watch is dedicated to working on behalf of the public to assert and regain these rights as we lobby for effective government standards and oversight, organize the public to take action, and educate the public and the media on these basic issues. We're starting these monthly meetups as a way to educate our supporters on Food & Water Watch issues and to cultivate them into serious activists willing to take action and spread the word.
