After participating in the child restraint training, individuals will be able to perform the following:
District residents who are approved for Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) can receive a free seat by attending one of the following classes.

- Select an appropriate child restraint for their children;
- Recognize the misuse of a child restraint;
- Recite the child restraint and seat belt law for the District of Columbia
- Obtain information on child restraint and seatbelts when needed
District residents who are approved for Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) can receive a free seat by attending one of the following classes.
